According to the Global Rich List, I’m easily in the top 1% of the wealthiest people in the world. If you’re reading this, chances are that you’re in the top 1% too. (They figure the top 1% at just under $50,000 per year).

Oddly enough, apparently if you actually believe in hell it looks like your chances of being rich increase as well, according to one poll.

I saw the study. Arguments can be made against it, but I figure the economists who did the study know more about economics and statistics than I do.
Similarly, I believe that the reason sub-Saharan Africa has such problems, is that at the root it’s a simple spiritual problem. God’s covenant with man is “Obey me and be blessed; disobey me and be cursed”. There are exceptions; see Ecclesiastes, Job, and so on, but it is still generally true.
