Yes, it is the Churches responsibility to accept all who come to know Christ. No matter their commitment. As a Church we would need to help those get a better and closer relationship with God, not kick them out.
Sure, why not?! They could call it the church of, “Us Four And No More”.
It all depends on what you mean by “accept.”
You “accept” friends who you invite to come into your house. But not everyone gets to sleep in your bed with you and your wife.
I think what is being missed is that this doesn’t mean that you “accept” your wife and don’t “accept” your friends.
