The Left SPEAKS for the people, it very rarely actually listens to them. It's true here in the States, and it's true with the Iraqi people. The Left is decrying our liberation in the name of Iraqis, the last thing they care about is how the Iraqis actually feel about it themselves. If the Left ever actually listened to the American or Iraqi people they would lose that faint film of faux-populism that is their only protection from naked elitism. As a gaurdsman in Iraq I see reckless leadership and the need for publicity we are led by weekend warriors who despise active duty people and feel insecure about marines in thier ranks.
